 as Euphemia Li Britannia (Code Geass) Photography, Direction and Editing.More from this shoot:  Suzaku KururugiLocation: Knightsbridge/South Kensington area, London SPOILER ALERT FROM HERE ONWARDS!!! * * * * * * * The only person to ever resist a geass command, Euphemia Li Britannia. Another one of my favourite Code Geass Characters, Euphy, wonderfully cosplayed by Xtine. Euphemia was powerless, despite her position as the third Britannian Princess. Unlike a lot of powerless heroines, she tried so very hard to turn the situation between Britannia and Japan into something less opressive. This is something that I admired about her, and I know many people do not like her character. Her name has been permanently stained and mocked even after her death, something which I find quite tragic, especially since she did not deserve it. Damn you, Zero! I find that both the photos are at an awkward angle, and that was not really intentional. It was mainly me failing to compose properly during the shoot. However, I feel that the mood both photos created was good enough to convey the idea of the character in my mind, but that's just me (afterall, I doubt you will find a pretty church in Area 11, but I did not mean to recreate that scene). For months, I have also been trying to achieve a certain "depth" to my photography works, and I feel that these photos are quite close to that goal, as awkward as the angles were. Ah well, next time! Photo Trivia: That's a Russian orthodox church behind her. Both these scenes were taken in front of it. It's conveniently close by and nobody minded her prop gun, which she made by herself. ^_^ |
